Pilar Elorza is finishing a bachelor’s degree in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at UAB. During her studies, she has gained a solid understanding of the foundational principles of physics, chemistry, and biology, along with the basics of laboratory work. Pilar has also participated in various hands-on experiences that have enhanced her practical skills. Her Final Degree Project focuses on analyzing the magnetoelectric effect in oxidized Co-Ni thin films, studying how their magnetic properties change when subjected to electric fields instead of electrical currents. This approach aims to explore energy-efficient methods for designing future data storage devices.
