Huan Tan defended her PhD degree in Material Science at the Institute of Materials Science in Barcelona (ICMAB-CSIC) in 2023. During her PhD activity, she studied the photovoltaic and memristive properties of ferroelectric thin films (mainly BaTiO3 and ferroelectric HfO2) with the use of piezoresponse force microscopy (PFM), aiming to improve the level of understanding of photoferroelectric materials for new-generation memory devices. She has published more than 20 peer-reviewed scientific papers. In 2024, she joined the Gnm3 Research group in the framework of the REMINDS project as a postdoctoral researcher.
