Aitor Arredondo obtained his B. Sc. in Materials Engineering at the Complutense University of Madrid in 2020 and his M. Sc. in Materials Engineering at the Technical University of Madrid in 2022. Thanks to his 6-months fellowship stage in Grenoble (France), he could get introduced in the world of spintronics. He studied skyrmionic current induced motion experiments in Py/IrMn thin film bilayers.
During his PhD period at the UAB, he is performing experimental work on magnetoelectricity of mesoporous Ni/Co thin films for applications in MRAMs, within the framework of the European Project entitled NICKEFFECT.
