Nicolau López obtained his B.Sc. in Physics from the Universitat de Barcelona (UB) in 2019 and his M.Sc in Materials Science and Large Scale Facilities (MaMaSELF+) from Université du Rennes 1, France, in 2022. During his master’s thesis, he studied the infrared (IR) spectra of MIL-101(Cr) under high pressure at several temperatures at the SMIS beamline of synchrotron SOLEIL (Paris). His current Ph.D. position at the UAB is funded by the European REMINDS project, where he is working on domain imprinting in ferromagnetic/antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic/ferroelectric systems.
