Silvia Damerio obtained her PhD degree in materials science at the Zernike Institute for Advanced Materials of the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, in 2022. After that, she spent 4 years at Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona (ICAB-CSIC) as a postdoctoral researcher and Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow. In 2026, she joined the Gnm3 Research group in the framework of the MAG-IONICS project to work on magneto-ionic control of spintronic devices for neuromorphic computing applications.
