PhD Student

Cristina Navarro-Senent graduated in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in 2016, after completing her final degree project at Institut de Ciències de Materials de Barcelona (ICMAB). She obtained her M.Sc. degree in Advanced Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at UAB in 2017. During her Master’s thesis, she worked in the development of electrochemical surface sensors based on carbon nanotubes for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons detection. Her PhD work copes with the ERC SPIN-PORICS Consolidator Grant (led by Prof. Sort), which is focused on the growth of magnetic nanoporous metallic micro-structures by electrodeposition on lithographed substrates and the study of their resulting voltage driven magneto-electric properties.
