PhD student

Konrad Eiler obtained his B.Sc. in Materials Science from TU Darmstadt in 2012 and his M.Sc. from TU Berlin in 2014. His studies, focussed on coatings and surface analysis, were followed by a 2.5-year fellowship at CERN in Geneva working in R&D for superconducting applications.
He is now a Research Fellow in the ITN mCBEEs, funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 764977. Here at UAB since 2018, he is working on the electrodeposition of mesoporous metallic thin films with the potential to be used in energy conversion systems.
